Eash_Wrestlers_I Edited.jpg

"The Wrestlers" is a production performance. Eash takes the position of the classical Greek statue, The Uffizi Wrestlers. As both the victim and the victor, he wrestles the void of his own self while holding strenuous stillness until resin soaked workmen's coveralls are completely hardened into statuary, restricting his mobility. He performs the labor of production whilst also showing the physical effort of aspiration; alluding to the want for significance and permanence, the monument of the self.
