"Allusion to a Body No Longer Present" is a performative installation made by Tyler Eash & Sara Rodrigues. The work was curated by Camille Brechignac and George Watson and was the winning selection for the annual Swiss Church Curatorial Commissioning Competition. The work was performed by Tyler Eash, Sara Rodrigues, Alexandra Baybutt, & Rodrigo B. Camacho within the Swiss Church. The work, which oscillates between theater, choreography, music, and sculptural installation, was informed by text that was entirely comprised of interviews with the Swiss Church congregation and the homeless community they care for. "Allusion to a Body No longer Present" depicted the questions of the human condition, as they concern the significance of self, the conflict of mortality, and the artifacts we may leave behind.
